The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful and were quick to resolve the issue we had with our first room (shower did not work). The hotel is a good for the price range - the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The shower in the fist room did not work properly, however when we told the staff they were quick to offer us another room which was a big improvement. The rooms were not cleaned every day and we had to request for our room to be cleaned at one point - not great when you have to put your used toilet paper in a waste basket which was not emptied on a daily basis. I think that this was mainly because the hotel did not have many guests staying due to the recent unrest in Egypt, and they were taking the opportunity to refurb some of the other rooms so the staff were busy with this.

I really liked the proximity of the sea on the easy acces to swimming areas. the viallage is pretty quiet and the bedouin corner is also fine.
I found the room a bit over priced. (toilet didn't really work, walls were a bit scruffy...)

The level of service was very good...all staff, inc reception, waiters, diving operators, masseurs etc were all polite and ready to help in all time. The chill out area is very relaxing!

The staff were very helpful, not like other egyptians as they are bedouin. The hotel is straight on the beach, perfect for diving, and just a short walk to the main area of Dahab. A very peaceful location.
The pictures are dressed up a bit, the hotel is nice, but not quite as nice as the photos.

Mirage Village is more like a camping than a hotel. Anyway, among its advantages are: slightly remote situation from the main tourist area with the restaurants, low prices.
We probably got luck with room #26, cause it had all of the possible insects - mosquitos, ants and begbugs.

I loved this place! It was very friendly and clean. It has a very casual atmosphere but is still very well organized and professionally run. The rooms were huge and simply appointed as you'd expect in this kind of place. It is a short walk to the main strip and right next to several really great pubs & restaurants. Fantastic experience and I'd definitely return.

It's well situated with a short walk from everything in Dahab. Breakfast is good and included. Staff is friendly.
The bathroom had a problem with cockroaches and the showerdrain hadn't been cleaned for a loong time.

Mirage is well located close to Dahab town, but isn't in the busiest area with loads of hotels, dive centres and restaurants. You can walk to those places very easily, but the hotel itself is a slightly more tranquil area. You're also a 5 min walk to the snorkeling/diving areas of Eel Garden and Lighthouse. There is a little supermarket across the road, an ATM, and wifi at the hotel. The bedouin chill-out seating areas are really lovely, and the staff are friendly, smiley, respectful and helpful. There is a dive centre, which I didn't use, but was able to rent snorkeling equipment, and they also have a sister company that organises tours. I had a lovely massage on-site too. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe walking around the area, even late at night, and I wasn't at all worried about security at the hotel. There's lots of lovely dogs and cats around too! My room wasn't cleaned during my 2 week stay. Whether I could have requested this, I don't know, and it was actually fine. I asked for extra loo roll when I needed it. I had two towels for my stay, air con, a comfy double bed and a fridge in my room. All basic, but comfortable, and friends staying in more budget accommodation in town were envious of my fridge and air con! I had a really lovely time and the staff and bedouin seating areas were definitely the best bits about the hotel.

I liked the quiet location and the fact the beach was breezy and cooler than other places. The food was good and value for money and the staff were helpful.
The toilet was a bit dirty.

The staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. The location is right on the beach and the hotel has two or three nice spots for relaxing by the sea. You can read by the sea, day or night, as well as going for a swim. There are areas of coral where you can see coral fish. The hotel is situated on a corniche which is nice for strolling on in the evenings, there are many other restaurants very close by. We had young children with us and the staff were very warm and friendly towards them. The staff in general were well mannered and friendly but not to the point of being overbearing. I would consider booking Mirage Village again if I were to return to Dahab. It is definitely a good option for budget customers.
The water pressure in one of the rooms was variable and sporadic. I never complained about this problem but I'm sure it would have been fixed.

A magical accommodation with a sea view tares in the front of the room door. Clean rooms, toilets, sheets, and towels. Customer oriented hotel management; they apologies on a misbehavior done by one of their staff, not only this they also compliment us by deducting all the other charges on the room like laundry and foods. They can arrange you anything you wish for, from the electrical plug convertor to trips in/outside the country If you looking for a budget hotels that tell you “your wishes is my command” then this is the right place.
Breakfast is not to the hotel level, need to replace their chef/cooker. No pool, and the tap water is salty.

The hotel offers excellent value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and well maintained. (Pay in mind, though, that the hotel isn't brand new, and it isn't a luxury resort) There's a private beach, a dive shop in the premises and a tour office just across the street.
The hotel is located just outside the bay, where the main action is. This isn't too bad in itself, but the winds were a bit strong in that area. The private beach looked nice, but the wind made it too chilly to hang out there (this was in December).
